Have you ever wanted unbiased reviews, information and guidance on products and services based on research with disabled and older consumers? If so you may have come across the Research Institute for Disabled Consumers which provides practical information for disabled and older people at home and out and about.
RiDC is looking for new panel members and their CEO, Gordon McCullough, would love to hear from you if you’re interested in joining up, as he explains
“Being part of the panel can be a rewarding experience. Depending upon the research we are commissioned to do, panel members can get involved in mystery shopping, audits of public transport, usability testing (a lot of it is websites, apps and other technology), interviews or focus groups. We also send a lot of surveys to the panel as well. It is varied and the type of project the panel works on changes all the time”.
“We do our best to tailor our research to our panel members, so we never ask anyone to do something they are uncomfortable with. We also cover panel members’ expenses, and we try to recognise your contribution through a small payment. We are a charity led by disabled people. We are very committed to helping businesses, government, and regulators listen and learn from the experiences of disabled and older people.”
“I hope it sounds exciting and you would like to join the other 2,600 people trying to make products and services more accessible and inclusive.”
