First Report of Covid 19 Inquiry

The UK Covid 19 Inquiry’s first report and recommendations, covering Module 1 of their investigations has been published in a range of formats.

Module 1 examined the state of the UK’s central government structures and procedures for pandemic emergency preparedness, resilience and response. This marks an important milestone for the Inquiry, being the first of several reports detailing Baroness Hallett’s findings and recommendations.

The Report recommends fundamental reform of the way in which the UK government and the devolved administrations prepare for the next pandemic. It makes 10 recommendations, with suggested changes to government structures, strategies and policies across all four governments of the United Kingdom.

The Inquiry have a range of ways that you can access the report and its recommendations on the Inquiry Module Reports page. on our website:

Further reports will be published following each module. Each report will provide recommendations on the different investigations so that the lessons from the pandemic are learnt as quickly as possible.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
