The next meeting of the Disability Hub is on Thursday 4 April 2019 at The Circle , 33, Rockingham Lane, Sheffield S1 4FW, the home of Voluntary Action Sheffield.
The Disability Hub meeting is one of the ways in which disabled people can have a greater say on the services and businesses disabled people interact with locally. By providing a platform for disabled people to represent their needs together it is hoped we can strengthen the move towards a more equitable society, where disabled people enjoy the same opportunities as everyone else.
This meeting will give members a chance to talk about a number of issues important to them in the city. From Social Care to Independent Living you can catch up with the four priority strands of the Disability Hub and think about actions and activities the Hub can organise to create awareness and change on issues around housing, transport, employment and social care.
The meeting runs from 2 to 4pm and we would love to see you there. Here is a copy of tomorrow’s Agenda.
