Digital Support from Citizens Advice

Digital Support from Citizens Advice

As more and more of everyday life is now taking place online, people who are not used to it or have difficulties with technology for a variety of reasons – including disability – may start to struggle.

Which is why Citizens Advice, the organisation which aims to give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem. is now offering digital advice.

Anyone in South Yorkshire is able to access this. It includes.

*One-to-one appointments with friendly digital skills advisors, where you can. Receive assistance with online form completion or discover how to get the most out of your internet usage.

*Back-to-basics sessions to help you to achieve your online goals.

*Advice about reducing your internet costs and on getting help accessing technology.

You can find out more and who to contact for help in Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham here.

They are also inviting people to take part in the South Yorkshire Digital Inclusion Survey to find out more about the region’s internet awareness.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
