Deepness Dementia Conference

Deepness Dementia Media is a non-profit organisation that provides radio shows, online education courses and many other projects in order to encourage living well with dementia. It is run by people living with Dementia for people living with Dementia .

Their conference is for people living with Dementia, their Carers and Supporters and for Professionals and Academics is taking place on the 26th and 27th of September 2022 at Victoria Hall, Sheffield .

The closing date for registrations is 18th August 2022

Deepness Dementia is offering bursaries for people iving with dementia to attend with no charge.

For people living with dementia, music and the spoken word are important for their wellbeing and to trigger memories. Although their memory may fade, music and its accompanying memories remain embedded in the mind.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
