The BFI Film Academy are recruiting twenty young people aged 16-19 to take part in the academy here in Sheffield at the Showroom cinema.
The course runs from Wednesday 4th November 2020 until Saturday 30th January 2020.
The fee for the course is £25.00 and bursaries to cover course fees and travel costs may be available to attendees.
Young people from all backgrounds and areas of the UK are encouraged to apply – the deadline for applications is Friday 23rd October
The course aims to give participants a real insight into the world of film making, equipping them with skills and experience that are essential to becoming part of the film industry. All participants will be working towards a recognised qualification from NCFE and will be immersed in all aspects of hands-on film making, meeting fellow film enthusiasts and industry professionals from across the UK.
