Appointment Support

Appointment Support

Do you need help getting through to your doctor or help with booking and getting to appointments? Do you know someone who does?

Manor Castle and Development Trust are working with the NHS until the end of March 2022 to provide support to access NHS Services for people living in the Manor, Castle, Arbourthorne and Norfolk Park areas.

You can have free use of their phone and/or laptop ( at drop in sessions on Mondays & Wednesdays ) and receive help to book COVID and Booster vaccination appointments or to contact your GP or hospital for an appointment. View Leaflet

They can also provide support when being discharged from hospital and will talk to the hospital, collect you, organise your shopping and call in and check in regularly once you are home.

To find out more about this and their other community projects call in at the Community Space, 52-54 Manor Park Centre, Sheffield, S2 1WE, phone 0114 265 5145 or 07793 042 453 or Email “karineball@manorandcastle.org.uk”:Mailto:karineball@manorandcastle.org.uk

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
