These training events will be available online but also at in-person sessions in Crystal Peaks and Crosspool ( on different dates to those below )

The selection of online training sessions are from 3-4.15pm on the following dates:

16 July – Understanding dementia and the impact of dementia

23 July – Legal and money matters

30 July – Providing care and support

6 August – Coping day to day and next steps

13 August – Understanding how dementia progresses

20 August – Planning for the later stages of dementia and end of life.

The six sessions will take place on Microsoft Teams. To find out more about the online and in-person training and to book a place email sheffieldenquiries@alzheimers.org.uk or phone 0114 276 8184.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
