    Call for Action as Government Moves to Suspend Care Act

    Serious concerns have been raised about the implications of the Coronavirus Bill regarding the human rights of vulnerable groups, including disabled people. The Coronavirus Bill suspends the Care Act. The second reading of the Coronavirus Bill is today, Monday 23 March. DRUK are calling on disabled people to act now by writing to their MP, tweeting them or otherwise contacting them to explain their concerns.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
