    Healthwatch Sheffield want to identify what issues and areas they should focus on in the next few years and want to hear from members of the public about what is important to you.     Healthwatch Sheffield Photography Exhibition

    Make sure you go to the Winter Gardens this month and have a look at the Healthwatch Sheffield Exhibition “celebrating people who inspired by their own experience, or someone close to them, are using their insights to make things better for others” in Sheffield. Nominations came from organisations such as SAYiT, Manor & Castle Development Trust and Disability Sheffield. The exhibition is open until 25 August.

  • Health and Care Survey for Over 65s

    Health and Care Survey for Over 65s

    Healthwatch Sheffield has launched a survey to find out about the experiences of people aged 65 and over who use health and/or care services. The survey involves filling in demographic information (optional) and simply ticking ‘agree’ or ‘disagree’ to 10 statements. The survey is open until Monday 9th September.

  • Healthwatch Sheffield's Annual Report

    Healthwatch Sheffield has engaged and supported more people than ever during 2018/19, according to its annual report.In the last year they heard from 3,270 people who spoke about their experiences of different areas of health and social care. That’s more than double the number that they saw the previous year. They also published 20 reports and briefings based on what they were told including 36 recommendations to providers and commissioners of health and social care.

  • Festival of Debate 2019

    Sheffield’s Festival of Debate returns from 19th April to 5th May. Healthwatch Sheffield will be hosting three events exploring the future of health in our city, including a workshop with Disability Sheffield on Saturday April 27th about ‘Disability and Democracy in Healthcare’.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
