Sheffield City Council have agreed to adopt our proposals for an Independent Direct Payment Support Service. We would therefore like to invite people in receipt of a direct payment, family carers and colleagues in the council and CCG to a meeting on Tuesday 11th July from 10.15am to 12.15pm at Quaker Meeting House, to help us refine what a specification for such a service will look like prior to it being commissioned in the Autumn.

It is set to be a spectacular opening show at Bramall Lane stadium welcoming around 2,600 athletes with intellectual disabilities of all ages and abilities to the city for the 10th National Games taking place from Monday 7 August until Saturday 12 August.
