    The next meeting of the Disability Hub is this coming Wednesday 27 September 2017. The meeting runs this time in the morning from 10.30 am until 1 pm, Ground Floor Conference Rooms, The Circle, Rockingham Lane.   • Invitation to Independent Direct Payment Support Service Meeting

    Sheffield City Council have agreed to adopt our proposals for an Independent Direct Payment Support Service. We would therefore like to invite people in receipt of a direct payment, family carers and colleagues in the council and CCG to a meeting on Tuesday 11th July from 10.15am to 12.15pm at Quaker Meeting House, to help us refine what a specification for such a service will look like prior to it being commissioned in the Autumn.

  • £40,000 DRILL Employment Research Project Awarded to SOHAS

    The ‘Disabled People – Getting In and Staying On’ project, managed by SOHAS with support from Disability Sheffield, will explore organisations’ perceptions of employing disabled people and create jobs for disabled people or people with long term health conditions.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
