New cycles have been added to our Cycle Loan Scheme
Sheffield Cycling 4 All, a project run by Disability Sheffield, runs a Cycle Loan scheme. They have a fleet of 12 electric assist cycles which are available for anyone living in the South Yorkshire Region, and who is Disabled or has a long-term health condition, to borrow for up to 3 months. By borrowing a cycle people can experience pedal power as a mode of transport and is currently free of charge.

The Stricker handcycle – More info.
The Stricker- Hand-powered cycle designed for upper-body propulsion, ideal for users with limited or no leg function, arm and hand function. It is electric assist, and has nose controls.
Van Raam Easy Go – More Info
The Van Raam Easy Go mobility scooter bike, is a unique 3-in-1 trike that works as a mobility scooter, pedal trike, and electric-assist bike. You can switch between riding and using it as a scooter. Ideal for those needing variable support.
As part of the scheme, they can provide:
- Advice and trial sessions to help find the right cycle for you
- Ongoing support throughout your loan
- Cycle confidence rides to help build independence
- Help with planning safe and accessible routes
