Personalisation and Direct Payments Strategy Launch

Personalisation and Direct Payments Strategy Launch

Are you entitled to Direct Payments but not sure exactly how to make them work or work better for you? Then you may be interested in the Personalisation and Direct Payments Strategy Launch Event taking place on Thursday 18th May between 10am-2pm at at St Mary’s Church, Bramall Lane, Sheffield, S2 4QZ.

Tell Sheffield City Council and the Direct Payments Support Service what you think about Direct Payments and what ideas you have to make things better. Everyone is welcome and you are free to pop in anytime during the event.

While there you can visit the Provider Fair to meet and find out about some of the different care and support providers available in Sheffield and also find out how Sheffield City Council will develop new, personalised approaches to Direct Payments over the next 5 years.

Refreshments will be provided so you can grab a cuppa and have a chat while doing so. If you have any questions you can contact Andy Buxton, Commissioning Officer on 0114 205 2714 or by email to andy.buxton@sheffield.gov.uk

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference
