Happy 15th Sheffield Cycling 4 All !

Happy 15th Sheffield Cycling 4 All !

We’d love you to join us this Thursday, 28th September (10.30am – 3pm), for our inclusive cycling project’s 15th Birthday celebration in Hillsborough Park! The cycling session will happen as usual and other providers are bringing different cycles to try out…and what would a birthday be without cake?

Sheffield Cycling 4 All will be sharing the results from their recent consultation as well as their new impact report, and asking for your input to help them prioritise what they offer in the future. View Poster

Rosemary Hill, one of the project Co-ordinators says:

“Sheffield Cycling 4 All has taken many different forms, depending on who has been running it and what funding we had. It was started by Caroline and Steve, and so many other people who have contributed to its success.

Major shout outs to all the volunteers past and present, and our predecessor Graeme who got the second biggest National Lottery funding for cycling in its history. He taught us all so much and supported us through a lot.

But it’s the cyclists and their support workers that make Sheffield Cycling 4 All what it is today , a warm, kind, inclusive, friendly, amazing place where you can cycle whatever your support needs! The people of Sheffield we salute you! Thanks for cycling every week. You are brilliant!

First Hillsborough park, next THE WORLD!”

And thank you Rosemary , Tom and Krysia for all your hard work, dedication and joyful enthusiasm. Happy Birthday and many happy returns!

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
