Help with collecting shopping, medication or social contact if you have no-one else who can offer support and you self isolating because you or your household is more vulnerable to the effects of the virus or you have the virus. You can also apply once for an emergency food parcel.

VAS is coordinating a response calling for volunteers for informal and neighbourhood activity (street-level support such as doing errands);organised community hubs (trusted, registered organisations) and the statutory,city wide approach (emergency response and planning ).

Zest Essential Item Delivery Service
For people who are self isolating, vulnerable, have low mobility or are otherwise unable to access essential items and live in the S6, S3 or S10 postcode areas of Sheffield. Email covidsupport@zestcommunity.co.uk with a brief description of your situation and information on the essential items you require. If you do not have access to email, please call/text Zest on 07517 864 017 (Tues/Thurs) or 07517 810 824 (Mon/Wed/Fri).

Asda Volunteer Shopping Card
The Volunteer Shopping Card can be bought easily online.It can then be emailed to the volunteer or printed out and left in a safe place for the volunteer to pick up. The volunteer then shops using the card, makes the payment using the barcode in store, and leaves the shopping in a safe place.

Morrisons – Doorstep Delivery Service
Morrisons have set up a new service that allow vulnerable and elderly residents to phone 0345 611 6111 and order essential food items. The order will take 24 hours to process and is delivered by Morrisons staff. Contactless payment is made on delivery.

Marks & Spencer – We’re All In This Together Card
