Free Training for PAs - Safe Restraints, Let's Talk About It - 1.30 - 3pm

Monday 15th January

Are you looking to build your skills and knowledge in order to gain employment in the care industry? Are you employed as a Personal Assistant or do you employ your own Personal Assistants and want to access further training for them?

If you answered yes to any of the above, Disability Sheffield are running a number of FREE courses for existing and aspiring Personal Assistants in partnership with Skills for Care and Sheffield City Council.

A short course for both Individual Employers and their Personal Assistants to gain a wider understanding of the term ‘restraint’ and its implications. It is designed to promote the conversation between employer and employee about restraint and different ways to keep people safe. Venue: The Circle.

Booking onto these courses is essential and numbers are limited. If you require any more information or to register for a place, please email tess.daly@disabilitysheffield.org.uk

You can view full details of the training courses on various topics over the next 6 months on our leaflet .

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
