Sheffield Voices 'Big Voice' Conference

Sheffield Voices 'Big Voice' Conference

After a year of ‘We speak, You Listen’ events we want to come together as a community to celebrate so please join us for our fun, interactive, all day conference at Sheffield Town Hall on the 27th of June from 10-3pm, with lunch included!

This event is for people with a learning disability and Autistic people living in the Sheffield area. You can come as part of a group, or by yourself. Everyone is welcome.

We’ll be talking about self advocacy, what a good life looks like and future planning for our community in Sheffield.

See our Big Voice Conference Flyer for more information about what to expect on the day and our contact details – do contact us if you have any questions!

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
