Free Training for PAs and Individual Employers Throughout March

Do you employ your own Personal Assistant(s) and want to further their skills and knowledge, or improve your own understanding of your roles and responsibilities as an Individual Employer?

Are you currently employed as a Personal Assistant for an adult over the age of 18 and looking for further training?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then our free training sessions may be just the thing you’re looking for!

We have four great training sessions running this March for Personal Assistants and Individual Employers from Sheffield to enjoy for free:

Tues 9th March – Food Safety Level 1
This in-person training session provides learners with information about the principles of food safety, enabling you to apply this knowledge and carry out safe practice in your work.

Fri 10th March – Autism Insight Training
This online session offers an introduction to Autism through personal insight, and covers the Tier 1 core capabilities framework.

Fri 10th March – Moving and Handling People and Objects
This in-person course enables learners to gain an understanding of safe methods and techniques for moving and handling in their workplace or at home.

Mon 20th March – Medication Administration and Management
This in-person training covers: Types of medication, routes of entry, the ’5 rights’, dispensing, record-keeping and DP, reporting errors, and controlled drug protocols, and more.
Please note: This course is only available to social care direct payment recipients and self-funders.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
