    The Community Equipment Service (CES) in Sheffield is delivered by the British Red Cross who deliver thousands of pieces of equipment every month to people of all ages across the city. The service would like to set up an Equipment User Group to help with reviewing customer feedback and to improve the service. If you can help they’d love to hear from you.

  • Social Prescribing for Free Conflict Mediation

    Social prescribing is a way of linking patients in primary care with sources of support within the community – usually provided by the voluntary and community sector, offering GPs a non-medical referral option that can operate alongside existing treatments to improve health and wellbeing. Sheffield MESH is offering free mediation for people with health problems caused by conflict in their community or interpersonal relationships.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
