Aspire Community Enterprise provides support packages for vulnerable and socially excluded people (including people with physical and/or sensory impairments, learning disabilities, people with mental health issues and the homeless).

Support includes help to develop life skills and social skills, job search support, IT Skills and training, and full-time or part-time paid employment with Aspire (employment involves packing, mailing and distribution, plus retail shop work dealing with surplus IT equipment). Aspire works in partnership with SOAR Community (see separate entry) to provide a variety of employment support opportunities.

Aspire receives referrals from any statutory or recognised community agency. Volunteers are welcome during working hours, but must be referred by a recognised agency, please contact for further details.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
