Learning English By Appointment
Sheffield Association for the Voluntary Teaching of English in partnership with Darnall Well Being is offering a new English class starting on Wednesday 21 January.
This eight-week ESOL course is focused on English skills to allow learners to communicate with health services with confidence. Topics covered include:
- How to speak confidently about your health and wellbeing
- Contacting health services
- Speaking in appointments – giving information and asking questions
The tutor will work with those taking part to develop skills for this. There will be homework to complete each week.
An assessment session will take place on Wednesday 10 December, 12:30 – 2:30pm at Darnall Well Being, 290 Main Road, S9 4QH. You will need to complete this form to express your interest.
