Kidz up North - 9.30 am - 4.30 pm

Kidz up North host one of the largest, FREE UK exhibitions dedicated to children and young adults with disabilities and special needs, their families and the professionals who work with them. The 2015 Kidz up North – Independent Living Exhibition will be hosted at EventCity, Trafford Park, Manchester. There are over 170 exhibitors offering advice and information on funding, mobility, seating, beds, communication, access, education, toys, transport, style, sensory, sports and leisure. Running alongside the event are FREE seminars for parents and professionals. Topics include: Moving and Handling, Sleep Issues, Continence Issues, Direct Payments, Parental Experiences, Transition and Legal Advice. When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
