Sheffield City Council is inviting feedback on their new Adult Health and Social Care Strategy, called ‘Living the life you want to live’. They want to hear from you about what you think are the key, big changes needed in adult health and social care to help make their vision for the next 10 years is a reality. There are some upcoming opportunities to hear about the strategy, what it covers and how it’s been developed so far as well as to contribute to the plan.
These workshops are focussed on the draft commitments from the strategy and developing the plan. The commitments below are the guiding principles to how the Council will deliver this strategy, highlighing what the Council wants to do better.
The sessions below are open to anyone across adult social care as well as Sheffield citizens.Facilitated and open discussions will explore what would make a difference and how would we know we’ve made a difference. You’ll be able to join whichever commitment discussion you want for as long as you want.
20 October, from 3 to 5 pm
Register on Eventbrite
The session runs for 2 hours but feel free to stay for some or all of the conversations and you can attend both sessions if you wish.
After the workshops Sheffield City Council will be consulting on the updated strategy through Citizenspace in November to make sure it properly represents what people have said.
You can get in touch with the Council at any time with questions or comments by calling 0114 273 4119 or emailing information@sheffield.gov.uk .
