IDAHOBIT Rally: 5.30pm - 6.30pm

Thursday 17th May

For the past 12 years, on 17th May Sheffield has marked IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia) by holding a public rally culminating in a 1 minute noise.

This rally is taking place at The Peace Gardens, Pinstone Street, S1 2HH.

This idea of noise as opposed to silence has been adopted by other cities in the UK and in other countries. Join us as we stand up against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
