DRUK Statement on Timms Interim Review Report
The Timms Review was introduced following the Government’s failed attempt to massively restrict eligibility for PIP.
The just published interim report is a summary of findings, including an analysis of the over 38,000 responses to the call for evidence.
It finds, unsurprisingly, that PIP is not ‘ fit for purpose’ but questions remain as to where the review is heading in the current political climate of scapegoating the cost of welfare, not least from Disability Rights UK.
