The draft guidance brings important information together in one place to support services to improve life outcomes for people with Down syndrome, as well as people with other learning disabilities who have similar needs. The consultation seeks to understand if the guidance is clear, informative and useful to relevant authorities in carrying out their relevant functions.

DHSC welcome views from people with Down syndrome or similar conditions, their families and carers, organisations and people who work in healthcare, social care, education or housing services.
