We’re looking for PAs!

We’re looking for PAs!

Are you a PA? Would you like to tell people a bit about what it’s like to be a PA and what you enjoy about it?

We want to raise the profile of the crucial work Personal Assistants do and encourage more people to think about becoming one. But we need your help to do so!

It doesn’t matter whether you work 1 hour a week or 20, are paid or unpaid, we’re looking for all kinds of PAs, from all kinds of backgrounds to share their experiences. Whether being a PA is your main job or not, your PA story is important and will make a difference.

Of course we appreciate how busy everyone is and promise it won’t take up much of your time or energy. We have various ideas/activities – some will only take about 10 or 15 minutes of your time.

Please note you will not be asked to identify anyone you’re working with or break any confidentiality.

Get in touch to find out more – we look forward to hearing from you.

Contact Ali our PA Support Co-ordinator at Disability Sheffield:

Or phone: 07716 250 867 – leave a message and we’ll get back to you.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
