Video Advice For Clinically Vulnerable People

Video Advice For Clinically Vulnerable People

We know that a lot of people who have been shielding are very anxious about opening up so we worked with Greg Fell, Director of Public Health at Sheffield City Council, to come up with some guidance both for shielders and also for the rest of society

The videos featuring Greg Fell, have been posted on our Facebook page.

The first of these contains advice about opening up, the second is on how to help people emerging from shielding and the third is about opening up and CEV people.

The videos are now joined togehter so if you prefer you can watch them all in one go.

This follows an article on our website about exploring the challenges for those who are CEV, and would like to face the outside world again.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
