STH Focus on Communication

STH Focus on Communication

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals are collecting views from their patients and local communities about how they communicate with patients. They have announced dates for two online focus groups

They particularly want to know

  • How patients want to receive information
  • If they are giving out good quality and easy to understand letters, leaflets, and emails.
  • How they can improve communication with patients with specific needs.

All the feedback received will go to the decision makers at the hospital to improve the ways Sheffield hospitals communicate with patients.

You can join the focus groups on MSTeams on either:

Wednesday 27th November 2024 6:00pm – 7:00pm
or
Friday 6th December 2024 11:00am – 12noon*

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
