Share Your Thoughts on Staying Physically Active

For the last few months during the Coronavirus outbreak, we have been told to stay at home as much as possible to keep ourselves safe . There has been a variety of guidance around keeping physically active, as well as a variety of content created for disabled people and for people who may be unable to leave the house around getting active at home.

Get Yourself Active are working with Sense to find out how disabled people are currently staying active and to find out if there is anything else that could help disabled people to keep active during this time. They have developed a survey and will be using the results to create and share resources that reflect the needs, views and experiences that have been shared.

You can take part in the survey here

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
