New Guide to Money Support

New Guide to Money Support

The Sheffield Money Support Guide is a new and developing website where you can search for advice and support with your finances and services or initiatives that help to ease the cost of living.

The website was built to help local people easily find accurate information about money support services in our city. It’s designed to help Sheffield people navigate the services and support available across the city for those who find themselves short of cash for essentials, victims of the “financial cliff edge”, or suddenly in need of help with money.

It was developed as a result of the collaboration between food projects during the pandemic and following the investigation into food poverty undertaken by the Sheffield City Council Scrutiny Committee.

As well as benefits and debt advice topics include food support, clothes, community eating, and hardship payments. New entries are being added as they arise and there’s an Urgent help page.

Check out the full list of topics in the search drop down box on the Money Support Guide website

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
