Disabled Swimming Group Looking for New Members

A group who attend Westfield Sports Centre are looking for new members to join their disabled swim session.

The group provide a friendly and sympathetic environment where disabled people can relearn to swim, exercise, regain confidence in the water or just enjoy the relaxation. Membership is open to anyone who considers themselves to be permanently or temporarily disabled as well as a partner, friend or helper.

The sessions run every Thursday between 7:30-8:30pm at Westfield Sports Centre on Eckington Road Sothall.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
