Calling All Patients and Carers

Calling All Patients and Carers

The NHS Leadership Academy are looking for patients and carers who would be interested in sharing their experiences of the NHS with healthcare staff that are currently participating in NHS learning programmes.

The NHS Academy works with thousands of NHS staff to enable them to lead with the compassion and skill that the public expects.

Sharing your experiences as a patient or carer allows you to make a difference to the experience that NHS staff undertaking leadership development have. It improves the ways in which they communicate and engage and make decisions with and for patients, carers and staff.

For more information and to register your interest in sharing your experiences as a patient or carer with the NHS Academy, click here.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
