Building Better Opportunities Peer Ambassador Volunteer Role

Are you thriving in work whilst managing health conditions and/or living with disabilities? Could you help to mentor people with physical and mental health conditions or learning disabilities who want to work but need an extra bit of support? Building Better Opportunities (BBO) is a new person-centred employment service working with disadvantaged people across the Sheffield City Region over the next two years. BBO is looking for peer ambassador volunteers who have successfully overcome their own barriers to employment and are willing to share their successes and how work has benefitted their own health and wellbeing. You will volunteer alongside healthcare professionals and employment specialists. For further information and how to apply please see the BBO Peer Ambassador Volunteer Role Profile .

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
