Bags of Taste Delivered to your Door

Bags of Taste Delivered to your Door

We are fortunate in Sheffield that Bags of Taste offers a free mentored home cooking course to help Sheffield residents learn how to make delicious, healthy meals cheaply. Designed to be done at home at your own pace, this interactive course is over Whatsapp or over the phone. The groups are fun and it’s a great way to make new friends.

To get you started, they send you a free bag of food to your door with all the ingredients you’ll need for 7 meals (3 recipes) and all materials required to participate in their 2-week course, some equipment and a local shopping guide. The course will also give you tips and advice on how to budget and save money when you’re shopping.

At the end of the course, you’ll receive more exciting but wallet-friendly recipes which build on the ones you have, so you’ll be able to continue saving money while cooking, sharing and enjoying great food with your family and friends.

You’ll also be invited to join their friendly online community and get access to some amazing recipes from all over the world plus videos and tons of ideas, tips and food inspiration as well as all the support you need to continue on your cooking journey!

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
