Access Event

Sheffield Theatres’ are holding an Access Event on Tuesday 27 June from 3.30pm until 5.00pm at the Crucible Theatre.

The event is an opportunity for individuals and groups who use Audio Description, Captioning or Sign Language services to get to know the people at Sheffield Theatres. They will be holding familiarisation tours in the Lyceum and Crucible accompanied by Audio Describers, BSL Interpreters and live captioning. Most importantly they’ll be making time for tea and cake!

This is the perfect opportunity for individuals who wish to visit Sheffield Theatres but haven’t in the past due to access requirements to get to know them and their access offer.

If you wish to attend or would like further information please email access@sheffieldtheatres.co.uk or call 0114 249 6000 to book a place.

Click here for directions to the Crucible and here for further information on access at Sheffield Theatres.

DON’T FORGET – you can use your Access Card or Carer Card at either of the Theatres where all Access Card symbols are acknowledged and responded to when booking including free companion tickets for +1s. Box office staff are able to take your booking in person, or on the telephone and advise you on the best access available. Sheffield Theatres do not ask for any proof of disability.

Recent Feedback    (We'd love to receive your feedback, please click here to add some)

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
