The number of disabled people who take part in sport has grown significantly and England Hockey are committed to providing hockey playing opportunities with an emphasis on inclusion and participation. Check out the dates for Flyerz Hockey sessions in Sheffield in February and March.

England Netball are looking to expand their sessions for Walking Netball across the country and want to train up more people to deliver these sessions in South Yorkshire.The next training session for ‘hosts’ is on 24th February from 10am-4pm at the XP academy in Doncaster .

Hallam Barbell, an Olympic Weightlifting and Strength Training Club based in Sheffield, is now offering a disability-inclusive programme and has a para power bench which allows disabled people to train competitively. It is an official British Weightlifting affiliated club, with an ambition to make Sheffield stronger: physically, mentally, emotionally and socially.
