Nor does Disability Sheffield accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for the quality, suitability or timeliness of the PA’s work. It is entirely your responsibility as the employer or PA to ensure that the terms and conditions of employment or the outcome of their work are appropriate and meet your requirements.
2. Scope of Service
Disability Sheffield PA Register provides a web based search tool. This enables registered users to manage their own recruitment or employment. This may be applicable to employers looking to employ the services of a PA or to PA’s looking to be employed by employers. Each registered user understands and agrees that Disability Sheffield has no involvement concerning matching or recommending registered users to other registered users as well as understanding that the PA Register has no obligation to provide registered users with suitable search results and cannot and does not give any guarantee as to suitability of the results. A search result shall be considered an interaction between PA registered users and employer registered users, and this shall be satisfied by Disability Sheffield providing the facility for one party to communicate with the other party. The full PA Register is not accessible on the website, so identities are protected. The only information that will be passed on is a telephone number and email address (if provided) when the PA applies for a job. The employer recruiting a PA will contact them directly.
3. Subscribing (Registered Users)
For Employers please see our payment options for a description of the current rates to become a registered user of Disability Sheffield PA Register. PAs can register to this site is free of charge.
Disability Sheffield PA Register reserve the right to change the subscription fees at any time, which for existing registered users will take effect on expiry of their then current period of subscription, but otherwise will be with immediate effective. Disability Sheffield PA Register will endeavor to give registered users 30 days’ notice of any change in subscription fees before implementing any change.
Disability Sheffield may immediately terminate your registration without warning if you breach any of these terms and conditions (as may be amended from time to time), if Disability Sheffield receives any complaint about your conduct, or if you act in a manner deemed by Disability Sheffield to be inappropriate. You may terminate your registration at any time, for any reason by submitting a notice of termination via the email contact form. However you acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to any refund of any registration fees paid to Disability Sheffield PA register.
5. Our responsibilities
We will respect your information and will comply with all applicable data protection legislation in force in England and Wales. Disability Sheffield will not disclose your personal information to any third party suppliers. Becoming a registered user of the Disability Sheffield PA Register you are consenting to us using your personal information to provide the services you need. This means only each PA or employer you are interested in working for links to your information via the search results or if you apply for a job or request that your contact details are passed on by using the email contact form.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for any information that you give. You must be specific and relate to your current needs. You agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring the suitability of applicants for the vacancy you are advertising or the job you are applying for.
For employers it is recommended that you undertake a rigorous face to face interview, take steps to verify previous employment and qualifications, take up character and work references, undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service check DBS information and other actions you consider necessary to confirm the integrity of an applicant or the person you are applying to for a job (the employer). You also agree that age, gender or ethnicity data or any other such information provided by an applicant will not be used in any employment-related decisions you make. However, this is your responsibility and Disability Sheffield accepts no responsibility or liability for the placing of a candidate.
7. Registered User Profiles
All contents of registered user profiles are subject to our approval. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to reject or remove any registered user profile at any time if we believe in good faith it fails to conform to applicable laws and regulations, our policies or the public interest. In addition, we may reject any URL link or personal contact details embodied within any advertisement. Disability Sheffield may deactivate the accounts of registered users who have not used the service for a period of six months or more unless they have paid for a six or 12 month registration (as calculated by the date of last connection to the service).
8. Access to Site Services
While Disability Sheffield will endeavour to ensure the availability of this website we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free. In addition, access to this website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.
9. Commercial use by Registered Users
Registered users may not use the services offered through this website or the website itself for illegal and/or unauthorised uses, including collecting usernames and/or email addresses of registered users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email and unauthorised framing of or linking to the website. Any such action will be investigated, and appropriate legal action may be taken, including without limitation, civil, criminal, and injunctive remedies.

You are responsible for ensuring that you keep your user name and password confidential. In the event you have forgotten your password, a link will appear at time of attempt to log-in offering you the chance to renew. Please note Disability Sheffield PA Register do not keep records of service user passwords.
