Free Training for PAs - Safeguard Adults Awareness - 9.30am - 12.30pm

Are you looking to build your skills and knowledge in order to gain employment in the care industry? Are you employed as a Personal Assistant or do you employ your own Personal Assistants and want to access further training for them?

If you answered yes to any of the above, Disability Sheffield are running a number of FREE courses for existing and aspiring Personal Assistants in partnership with Skills for Care and Sheffield City Council.

A half day course to enable you to fulfill your roles and responsibilities within the South Yorkshire Safeguarding Procedures. This includes identifying adults at risk of harm, recognising the different types of abuse and how to proceed if somebody discloses abuse. Venue: Moorfoot.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
