Access Event at Sheffield Theatres - 3.30 - 5

Friday 29th September

Sheffield Theatres would like to invite you to their second Access Event on Friday 29 September from 3.30pm until 5.00pm at the Crucible Theatre.

The event is an opportunity for you, friends and colleagues to get to know us here at Sheffield Theatres. We will be holding familiarisation tours in the Lyceum and Crucible accompanied by Audio Describers, BSL Interpreters and live captioning. We will also make time for some tea and cake!

After the success of our similar event earlier in the year we’ve decided to do it all again. We are excited to show you what we do here at Sheffield Theatres, and to offer an opportunity for you to meet members of the team.

If you would like to attend, or require further information email access@sheffieldtheatres.co.uk or call 0114 249 6000 to book a place for yourself, friends and colleagues.

Click here for directions to the Crucible.

DON’T FORGET – you can use your Access Card or Carer Card at either of the Theatres where all Access Card symbols are acknowledged and responded to when booking including free companion tickets for +1s. Box office staff are able to take your booking in person, or on the telephone and advise you on the best access available. Sheffield Theatres do not ask for any proof of disability.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
