Carers Service Improvement Forum ( SIF ) - 10.30am - 12.30pm

Thursday 19th January

To help you to bring your own personal experience and expertise to the development of their services Sheffield City Council has set up a number of service improvement forums that meet every other month. The forums provide an opportunity to meet other people and work with senior managers to check up on the quality of their services and set priorities for the future. The new Carers SIF takes place at Sheffield Town Hall, view the poster for more information and future dates. If you would like to chat about being involved in the Carers SIF contact Melanie Rice, Development Officer on (0114) 273 5299,

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
