What do you think of the new 'talking buses' in Sheffield?

Since December 2017 bus passengers on the 120 route buses in Sheffield might have noticed that their bus has some exciting new audio-visual displays thanks to he Better Bus Area Fund programme. The screens and speakers on the buses display and announce the next stop along the route as the bus approaches it. At the launch of the new service (pictured) it was hoped that the displays would improve the journey for passengers with visual or hearing impairments.

Five months on from the launch, the South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive would like to know if the features have had a positive impact on bus passengers, and have launched a questionnaire to gather your views.

If you have used the 120 bus since December 2017, please take the time to complete the 120 Bus Route Questionnaire and return it by email to dataservices@sypte.co.uk

The Questionnaire is also available in a Screen Reader Version if you require it.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
