Tuesday Cycling Sessions Starting from 25th April

Thanks to a great response to our appeal for volunteers, Sheffield Cycling 4 All are starting cycling sessions on a Tuesday from 25th April from 10 to 3pm (term time only) alongside the Thursday sessions which run during the school holidays too.

We are still seeking volunteers to join our new Tuesday team .You would need to be available from 9.30am-3.30pm. You can help with hospitality/administration meeting and greeting our cyclists, taking contact details and payments or be a cycling enabler ,getting people on bikes, choosing and sizing an appropriate bike for them, assessing their ability (control and braking) and ensuring their safety.

If you are interested in either role or something in the middle then please get in touch. You can view full details of the volunteer opportunities here .

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
