MS Active for Health Pilot

Do you or someone you know have a diagnosis of MS? Do you live in Rotherham? Would you like to be part of a FREE 12 week MS specialist exercise pilot project? If so you can take part in a free 12-week specialist exercise programme designed to help you cope better with your symptoms.

Active For Health and The MS Society are working together to develop an MS-specific post-rehabilitaton physical activity programme, supported by Sheffield Hallam University & Functional Fitness which will later be evaluated by Sheffield Hallam University. The sessions will take place once a week, delivered by exercise specialists in a group setting, and will include refreshments and social time.

For more information or to register your interest in the next pilot project starting in April 2018 please contact Amy Roden the Active for Health Project Coordinator in Rotherham on 01709 363355 or email: amy.roden@rotherham.gov.uk .

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
