Like to take part in the Community Equipment User Group?

Have you or someone that you may care for ever received a piece of community equipment from the British Red Cross? This could include things like a kitchen trolley, hoist, slings, specialist chair, walking frame, bath seat or hospital bed.

The Community Equipment Service (CES) in Sheffield is delivered by the British Red Cross. The British Red Cross deliver thousands of pieces of equipment every month to people of all ages across the city. The service would like to set up an Equipment User Group to help with reviewing customer feedback and to improve the service. If you can help they’d love to hear from you.

Please see an invitation to and draft terms of reference for the Equipment User Group.

If you would like to know more or would like to register your interest in joining the group please contact Liz McGrael, CES Commissioning Officer on 0114 2052926 or Email Liz.McGrael@sheffield.gov.uk.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference
