Leonard Cheshire Change100 Programme

If the employment rate for disabled people matched that of the rest of the UK, an extra two million people would be working. Change100 aims to broaden the public’s understanding of what disability is, as well as highlight the fact that many disabled students are talented, ambitious, and would thrive in all business sectors.Change100 is a programme of paid summer work placements and mentoring for talented university students and recent graduates with any disability or long-term health condition. Applications are open now For more information and to download a copy of Change 100’s Employment Guide for Disabled Students View Leonard Cheshire website

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
