Help the Home Office to Test their new Digital Service

The Home Office in Sheffield is looking for disabled people to trial a new digital service we have designed.

We offer £40 of shopping vouchers, per hour, as a way of saying thank you for your help.

What’s involved
The trial will start from the end of November. The interviews will be face-to-face and last around 60 minutes . You will help us test our new digital service by trying it out and giving us your feedback. View video .

Who can take part
We are interested in speaking to anyone who has access needs using digital technologies, but we would particularly appreciate speaking to people who:

  • Have mobility difficulties
  • Use any assistive technology
  • Use a screenreader
  • Use a screen magnifier

How to take part
Please get in touch if you would like to be involved. We would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Please call Craig Beaton on 07754 597045 or email craig.beaton@digital.homeoffice.gov.uk .

Protecting the people who take part
Our research is confidential. The Home Office will only ever use it to improve its service, never for any other purpose.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
